At the forefront of Dental Technology, Citra Wattletree Dental has an on-site, state of the art CEREC machine and with this, teeth can be restored with great precision whilst looking beautifully natural and leaving them as strong as it’s original state. All this in a single appointment!

Instead of sending a dental impression to the lab, our dentists at Citra Wattletree Dental uses CEREC’s equipment and combined expertise to produce crowns, inlays or onlays onsite in one visit. The digital impression technology is more refined and similar than old methods and is a no-fuss and no mess procedure.

This saves you time and the inconvenience of wearing a temporary crown. It can all be completed in one visit, making it possible to walk out of the door the same day with your beautiful new smile.

How does a CEREC work?

Using a special camera, we take a digital picture of the tooth. Your dentist will then design the restoration on the computer screen with a 3D virtual model of the tooth. This allows our team to customize the shape, detail and specifications to precisely fit your clinical needs.

You then relax in our comfortable waiting area, read a magazine or book whilst your dentist and the CEREC work together.

Next, a ceramic block is inserted into our CEREC milling unit and automatically machined to exact design specifications in the correct shade to match your tooth.

Later, the milling is complete and the restoration is ready to bond in place. After polishing the restoration feels like a natural tooth.

All this has taken place in approx. 1-2hrs in one single visit.
